توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس هذا اليوم (الأحد)، أن تظل درجات الحرارة العظمى مرتفعة على أجزاء من منطقتي الشرقية والرياض، كذلك على أجزاء من منطقة مكة المكرمة. كما تؤثر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، كذلك على أجزاء من منطقة نجران، تصل إلى انعدام أو شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على الطريق الساحلي الواصل إلى جازان، وتتأثر الرؤية الأفقية بالعوالق الترابية على الأجزاء الغربية والجنوبية الغربية للمملكة، وتكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الأجزاء الجنوبية منها.

وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة 10-32 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وجنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة 25-45 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، تصل إلى أكثر من 50 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر على الجزء الشمالي، ومن متر إلى مترين على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، يصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج على الجزء الشمالي ومتوسط الموج على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
فيما ستكون حركة الرياح على الخليج العربي شمالية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الشمالي، وشمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي بسرعة 10-28 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر وحالة البحر خفيف الموج.

The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Sunday) that high temperatures will persist in parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions, as well as in parts of the Makkah region. Active winds stirring up dust and sand will affect parts of these areas, as well as parts of the Najran region, leading to a complete or near-complete lack of horizontal visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan. Horizontal visibility will be affected by dust particles in the western and southwestern parts of the Kingdom, and thunderstorm clouds with rain will form in its southern parts.

The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 10-32 km/h in the northern part, and southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 25-45 km/h in the central and southern parts, reaching over 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds with rain in the southern part. Wave heights will range from half a meter to one meter in the northern part, and from one meter to two meters in the central and southern parts, reaching over two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds with rain in the southern part. The sea condition will be slightly wavy in the northern part and moderately wavy in the central and southern parts, becoming turbulent with the formation of thunderstorm clouds with rain in the southern part.
Meanwhile, the wind movement over the Arabian Gulf will be northeasterly to southwesterly in the northern part, and northwesterly to southwesterly in the central and southern parts at a speed of 10-28 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter, and the sea condition will be slightly wavy.
