أعلن النادي الأهلي، اليوم (السبت)، رحيل لاعبه الجزائري رياض محرز عن صفوف الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، قبل موسم واحد من نهاية عقده.

ونشر النادي عبر حسابه الرسمي في منصة «إكس» رسالة وداعية جاء فيها: «شكراً رياض محرز.. 3 أعوام لا يمكن نسيانها.. ستبقى في ذاكرة الأهلاويين للأبد»، في ختام مسيرة اللاعب مع الفريق.

وكان محرز (35 عاماً) قد انضم إلى الأهلي في صيف 2023 قادماً من مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي، بعقد يمتد حتى 30 يونيو 2027، قبل أن تنتهي علاقته بالنادي قبل عام من موعد انتهاء العقد.

وخلال ثلاثة مواسم، خاض الدولي الجزائري 122 مباراة بقميص الأهلي في مختلف المسابقات، سجل خلالها 37 هدفاً، وصنع 50 هدفاً، وفقاً لإحصاءات موقع «ترانسفير ماركت»، وأسهم في تحقيق العديد من الإنجازات، أبرزها التتويج بلقبَي دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، إلى جانب كأس السوبر السعودي.

ومن جانبه، ودّع رياض محرز جماهير الأهلي عبر حسابه الرسمي في تطبيق «سناب شات»، مكتفياً بكلمة مقتضبة قال فيها: «شكراً»، منهياً بذلك مشواره مع النادي برسالة حملت الكثير من الامتنان.

The Al Ahly Club announced today (Saturday) the departure of its Algerian player Riyad Mahrez from the first team of the football club, one season before the end of his contract.

The club published a farewell message via its official account on the "X" platform, stating: "Thank you, Riyad Mahrez.. 3 unforgettable years.. You will remain in the memories of the Ahly fans forever," marking the end of the player's journey with the team.

Mahrez (35 years old) joined Al Ahly in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City in England, with a contract that extended until June 30, 2027, before his relationship with the club ended a year before the contract's expiration.

During three seasons, the Algerian international played 122 matches for Al Ahly in various competitions, scoring 37 goals and assisting 50 goals, according to statistics from "Transfermarkt," and contributed to achieving many accomplishments, most notably winning the titles of the AFC Champions League and the Saudi Super Cup.

For his part, Riyad Mahrez bid farewell to Al Ahly fans via his official account on the "Snapchat" app, simply stating: "Thank you," thus concluding his journey with the club with a message full of gratitude.
